What to Expect At Your Visit

The initial therapeutic session entails a series of fundamental steps that will help facilitate the therapeutic process. The first step involves filling out crucial paperwork, which is necessary for obtaining important information pertaining to your current state of health, personal history, background, and preferences. After this, introductions will be made, and you will have the opportunity to share your personal story with the therapist. The therapist will ask pertinent questions aimed at gaining insight into your goals, therapeutic approach, and the duration and frequency of your sessions. Confidentiality will also be discussed to ensure that you feel safe and secure. Open dialogue is encouraged to create a comfortable and safe space for you to share your thoughts and feelings. Overall, the initial therapy session, though daunting, plays a crucial role in facilitating the healing process, and our therapists are trained and experienced to help guide you as you work towards your goals.
